The East Fork of the Jemez River flows south and east out of the Valles Caldera and joins with the San Antonio River at Battleship Rock to form the Jemez River.

Most of its length is isolated and away from the highway. The East Fork is full of wild hungry Brown Trout that will readily rise to a well presented Caddis pattern, Stimulator, or Adams. Worms are always a great option for the bait fisher.

The East Fork is no longer being stocked and is now being managed as a brown trout fishery throughout its length.
